New South Construction Supply celebrated its 40 year history of "know-how" service and "can-do "attitude by updating its branding to highlight its legacy of unequaled customer service.
New South Construction Supply Revamps Branding
Since 1981, New South Construction Supply has been the go–to construction supply and building materials provider for commercial and residential contractors in the Southeast. They specialize in providing concrete and masonry accessories, as well as waterproofing products for commercial, residential, industrial, waterproofing, restoration, and road and bridge contractors. Their customer service experts are dedicated to helping contractors get the job done on–time and on budget.
Facing the challenge of standing out to clients of all levels, New South partnered with Brains on Fire for a rebrand. I helped with the brand’s design and illustration of Kandu the Bear – an “ol’ buddy” mascot embodying New South’s strength, intelligence and confidence. This new branding was a hit; customers proudly displayed New South’s (and Kandu’s) face on their trucks. For the 40th anniversary, I was asked to update the brand to reflect New South’s legacy and iconic status.
